Glasgow Keeps Its Greens

Glasgow Green Councillors 2012

The Glasgow Green party would like to thank the voters of Glasgow for turning out, the staff from the Council in all their efforts in running this election and pass on our congratulations to all of Glasgow's elected councillors.

We are delighted and honoured to have been entrusted by the people of Glasgow with 5 Green councillors.

We have increased our vote share, pulled ahead of the Tories and LibDems, and are now clearly the third party of Glasgow and the only credible alternative to Labour and SNP.

Our councillors will continue to work hard for the people of Glasgow, holding the Labour administration to account while working constructively to secure more Green achievements.
